HTC has reported revenues of NT$22.08 billion (US$735 million) for June, down 23.9% sequentially and 26.4% on year.
Second-quarter revenues amounted to NT$70.7 billion, meeting the company's guidance of NT$70 billion set for the quarter.
Operating profits for the second quarter totaled NT$1.05 billion, representing an operating margin of 1.48%. Second-quarter net profits reached NT$1.25 billion, which translated into an EPS of NT$1.50 for the quarter compared to NT$0.10 in the previous quarter.
For the first-half of 2013, revenues amounted to NT$113.4 billion, decreasing 28.6% from a year earlier.
HTC is expected to see its performance stay flat in the third quarter with the planned launch the HTC Butterfly S, the HTC One Mini and a large-size model (codenamed T6) to serve as growth drivers in the quarter.
