Taiwan-based DRAM maker Inotera Memories generated consolidated revenues of NT$5.397 billion (US$180 million) for July, hitting monthly record for the second consecutive month and growing by 2.84% on month and by 77.75% on year, according to the company.
Inotera posted net profit of NT$2.186 billion and net EPS of NT$0.36 in July.Inotera returned to profits in March 2013. It recorded consolidated revenues of NT$12.747 billion, net profit of NT$3.472 billion and net EPS of NT$0.62 for the second quarter. Sequential bit growth in second-quarter DRAM output was 19% and on-quarter bit growth for the third quarter is expected to be less than 10%, Inotera said.
Inotera is upgrading its DRAM manufacturing process to 30nm technology and will hike 2013 capital expenditure budget to NT$8 billion from the original budget of NT$4.5 billion.
