Huawei has unveiled its new large-size smartphone, the Ascend Mate 2 4G, at a press event prior to the official opening of CES 2014.
The Ascend Mate 2 comes with battery capacity and power management solution that enables standby of up to 2 days, said Huawei Device chairman Richard Yu.
The Ascend Mate 2 4G is also equipped with a 6.1-inch 241ppi IPS display, a Qualcomm 400 Snapdragon CPU, a Sony 13-megapixel BSI camera, and a 4050 mAh battery, according to the company.
Meanwhile, Huawei expects its smartphone shipments to reach 80 million units in 2014, according to Colin Giles, executive vice president of the consumer business group at Huawei.
