A-Data revenue slips 4%

Tuesday, February 11, 2014 Memory module manufacturer Adata Technology slipped 4.1% sequentially to US$91.6 million in January 2014. On an annual basis, however, sales grew 4.7%.DRAM modules accounted for 58.48% of Adata's consolidated sales in January 2014, while NAND flash and other products made up the remainder. Adata expects prices for PC DRAM to be stable during the first quarter of 2014, and has expressed optimism about the price outlook for the rest of the year citing a limited supply of the chips. As for NAND flash, prices will continue to fluctuate due to new capacity concerns, Adata indicated.
