ChipMOS Technologies, a provider of outsourced semiconductor assembly and testing services, expects its fourth-quarter revenues to come in at the high-end of its guidance.
ChipMOS guided previously consolidated sales for the fourth quarter of 2014 would stay flat or decrease by a low-single-digit percentage sequentially, compared to about 10% decreases usually seen for the same quarter in previous years.
ChipMOS reported sales of NT$1.95 billion (US$62.9 million) for November 2014, up 0.3% on month and 20.2% from a year earlier.
For the third quarter, ChipMOS announced revenues grew 7.3% sequentially and 13.6% on year to NT$5.81 billion, which came slightly above the company's guidance of 3-7% sequential growth.
ChipMOS provides backend services for LCD driver ICs, memory chips and logic/mixed-signal ICs.
