Nanya's capex for 2016 will reach NT$25.25 billion, the company was quoted in previous reports. The majority of Nanya's 2016 capex will be used for the company's transition to a newer 20nm node manufacturing.
Nanya expects to kick off pilot run for chips built using 20nm process technology in the first quarter of 2017, followed by volume production in the second half of the year.
