Memory chipmakers Nanya Technology, Macronix International and Winbond Electronics have reported sequential increases in April consolidated revenues of 10.5%, 6.2% and 4.5%, respectively.
DRAM firm Nanya posted consolidated revenues of NT$4.11 billion (US$132.8 million) for April 2019, down 46.5% on year, however. Revenues for the first four months of 2019 totaled NT$15.48 billion, down 41.5% from a year earlier.
Mask ROM and flash memory maker Macronix posted consolidated revenues for April 2019 fall 28.1% from a year ago to NT$2.09 billion. The company saw its cumulative 2019 revenues through April decline 32.2% on year to NT$11.96 billion.
Specialty DRAM and flash memory specialist Winbond announced April consolidated revenues of about NT$3.9 billion, down 13% from the same period in 2018. The company saw its cumulative 2019 consolidated revenues through April decline 11.1% from a year ago to NT$14.79 billion.
Winbond's consolidated revenues include sales generated by logic IC subsidiary Nuvoton Technology, which reported revenues for April 2019 decreased around 5% on month and 10.7% on year to NT$785.06 million. Nuvoton's revenues for the first fourth months of 2019 dropped 9.2% from a year earlier to NT$2.84 billion.
