Kingston Technology Co. Inc. Thursday introduced a new line of HyperX memory modules for gamers and PC enthusiasts using Double Data Rate (DDR) SDRAM chips of up to 434Mbits/s.
Kingston, Fountain Valley, Calif., said the modules are available in the U.S. through retailers, PC makers, and Kingston's own online store.
HyperX will be introduced elsewhere in the world at the beginning of 2003.
The family includes 512Mbyte and 256Mbyte PC3500 modules at 434Mbits/s, priced at $254 and $129, respectively. PC3000 modules at 370Mbits/s are also available in 512Mbyte and 256Mbyte configurations, priced at $213 and $109, respectively.
