Hynix Semiconductor unveiled sample products of its newly developed 128Mb GDDR chip.
The product, which runs at a speed of 500MHz, will be used for high-function PCs and workstations in graphic memory and network equipment.
Hynix said the product has a price advantage of 10 percent compared to DDR II products.
The company said it supplied new products to major chipset buyers, adding that 128M products will be released early next year.
