Solectron anticipates its second quarter of fiscal 2003 will generate sales between $2.8 billion and $3 billion.
For the first quarter, which ended Nov. 29, Solectron reported a net loss of $70.9 million, before restructuring and impairment costs.
In the year ago first quarter, Solectron reported a net loss of $52.5 million before restructuring and impairment costs, or zero earnings per share.
