Aside from Mosel Vitelic and subsidiary ProMOS Technologies, all Taiwanese DRAM makers set to see their December 2002 revenues slide from the previous month, according to the industry analysts.
Mosel Vitelic took in NT$1.5 billion in December, rising 37.9% from NT$1.087 billion in November, due to growing DDR output.
ProMOS today announced December revenues of about NT$2.4 billion, a growth of 20% from NT$2.0 billion in November.
Foreign investment analysts predict that Winbond Electronics will see December revenues drop 15% sequentially to about NT$2.5 billion to NT$2.6 billion. Sliding DDR prices and lagging driver IC revenues may be the most reasons for the decline.
Powerchip Semiconductor Corporation (PSC) will see December revenues remain flat, with a possibility of a slight decrease, said foreign investment analysts.
Nanya Technology is expected to bring in revenues of NT$2.76 billion in December, down 8% from November¡¦s NT$3 billion, the analysts predicted.
