DDR supply worldwide double doubles SDRAM in the fourth quarter, while overall DRAM supply surged 14% in the fourth quarter to 1.158 billion 128Mbit, reported DRAMeXchange.
DDR production in the fourth quarter reached 736 million die to account for 63.58% of overall DRAM output. The rise in DRAM outputs exceeded the expectation of DRAM makers that estimated a 10% growth in the fourth quarter.
