NEC Corp. on Monday named Akinobu Kanasugi as its new president, succeeding Koji Nishigaki who was appointed vice chairman of the board.
Kanasugi was most recently president of the NEC Solutions in-house company and also executive vice president of the parent corporation.
Nishigaki had been NEC president since March 1999, and before that had been executive vice president. He joined NEC in 1961.
