Dell Computer Corp. signed an agreement with Sears to sell its PCs in about 10 of the retailer's stores, according to a report Thursday.
Dell, the world largest PC maker, made a change Wednesday from its direct selling approach by opening its first store inside Sears in Austin, Texas, according to the Wall Street Journal.
Dell customers will be able to pick out their computers at the stores but will then either place their orders online at the kiosks that has already been setup or by phone, said the Journal.
According to the report, both Best Buy and CompUSA turned down Dell's offers to sell its computers in their stores.
