Advanced Micro Devices Inc. said today that the Athlon 64 (for desktops) and Mobile Athlon 64 processors (for notebooks) would not launch until September of 2003 whereas the 64-bit Opteron processor (for servers)would be introduced to the market on April 22 in New York.
No detail explanation was given by the company at this moment for the given schedule.
