Cisco is launching a $150 million global marketing campaign to raise awareness of the company and boost sales. The ad campaign will appear in print, on television and, and on the Internet.
The new slogan, ``This is the power of the network. Now.'' The examples of the ads are how several companies are using networks to improve performance.
Cisco said the campaign has several goals. At a time when companies are reluctant to spend on new computer systems, Cisco wants to argue that its products can save money right away and enhance the bottom line. By running the campaign globally, Cisco hopes to expand into markets around the world. And the company is hoping that new customers and shareholders will take notice that Cisco is aggressively moving forward even if the economy is not.
