Maxim Integrated Products and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Dallas Semiconductor, today alerted customers that counterfeit Maxim/Dallas products are being sold in Asia.
The counterfeit parts, specifically nonvolatile SRAM (NVSRAM) modules, have package dimensions, markings, and trademarked Maxim/Dallas logos copied from the Maxim/Dallas products. The alert was posted on Maxim's website.
"Unauthorized use of the Maxim/Dallas logo and other trademarked markings that identify the Company's product constitutes trademark infringement. Maxim/Dallas will aggressively enforce its rights under those patent and trademark rights," the company said.
