Intel officer in Taiwan denied a report saying it might cut prices on NOR flash memory, according to a local news source.
“We do not have such plans to cut down prices at this point,” said Intel’s public relations officer in Taiwan.
Back in January, the chip giant surprised everyone in the industry with a substantial price hike for NOR flash.
The remarks came after a rumor saying that Intel had asked its distributors to cut NOR flash memory prices by 20-30% beginning in April.
