Intel Corp. Monday announced price cuts up to 24% on on its value line Celeron desktop processors.
The 2.4GHz Celeron was dropped 19% to $103, while the 2.3GHz chip fell 24% to $89. The 2.2GHz Celeron is now selling for $83, down 19%, and the 2.1GHz version is now $79, down 11%.
All prices are in 1,000-unit quantities.
