The South Korean government said it may take a DRAM dispute with U.S. and European regulators to the World Trade Organization..
Seoul officials have been in talks with European Union and U.S. delegations in an attempt to get them to drop a plan to impose import duties on chips shipped by Hynix Semiconductor Inc. of South Korea.
U.S. and EU authorities imposed the duties in a preliminary ruling early this year after Micron Technology Inc. and Infineon Technologies AG filed a complaint alleging Hynix was being unfairly subsidized by the South Korean government.
