M-Systems Inc., Kfar-Saba, Israel, and Unique Memec have signed a North American distribution agreement.
According to the deal, Unique Memec, a division of Memec Group Holdings Ltd., will design-in and distribute M-Systems' DiskOnChip and FFD flash disk products through its 34 sales offices in the North America.
"We expect to see immediate and positive revenue gains from this agreement," said Phil Sansone, president and chief executive at Unique Memec Americas, San Diego.
Chuck Schouw, president and chief executive at M-Systems, said the supplier signed Unique because of its demand creation model and plans to leverage the Memec's sales channel to reach deeper into the channel.
"Unique's extensive sales channels will give us the opportunity to most effectively reach our OEM customer base," Schouw said.
