First-tier motherboard makers are expected to see a decline in November shipment, an industry sources said. That came after the record-setting shipments just a month ago.
Sources cited that fewer working weeks due to holiday seasons are the main reason for the drop. Asustek, for instance, forecasts shipping 3.1 million motherboards in November, down 18% from last month, the company said.
Industry sources added that Intel price cuts in late October do not seem to have much affect to stir demand in the clone market.
