LG.Philips LCD Co Ltd said that its annual sales of TFT-LCD panels for monitors exceeded 10 million units, for the first time as a global LCD maker.
"Up until November more than 10 million LCD panels have been sold, more than 1.7 times compared with the same period of 2002," the company said.
The joint-venture company began mass production of LCD panels for monitors in 1998.
