Electroglas, a supplier of wafer probing and test handling solutions, saw sales of $14.3 million, a 32 percent sequential increase and a 9 percent increase from Q4 2002. But net loss was $16.4 million compared with a net loss of $3.5 million in Q3 and a net loss of $25.2 million in the year-ago quarter.
The company was satisfied with the results which they said the revenue increased reflects the steady improvement in semiconductor manufacturing and assembly and test.
Looking ahead, Electroglas expects Q1 revenue to increase sequentially. Specifically, the company's current outlook targets revenue in the range of $15 million to $16 million.
