The European market for enterprise VoIP has displayed healthy growth, despite the slow economy. "VoIP is easier and less expensive to integrate into the bundled service portfolio," says John Marcus, Probe Group Vice President, Business Data Systems. "VoIP also makes it easier for incumbent carriers to expand their footprints outside of their home country," he said.

"Europe makes up one-quarter of the worldwide market," Marcus said. The large number of small and medium sized businesses there make it an attractive market for VoIP. "Adoption of the Euro has increased the demand for data and voice services throughout Europe," Marcus concluded
