Samsung Electronics Co Ltd said today ,that it will invest 255.5 billion won in its Hwasung memory chip production plant.
The production line makes 300mm wafers for DRAMs and flash memory chips.
"We hope to develop next-generation DRAM and flash memory products at Hwasung in the future," said a Samsung official, explaining the reason behind the investment.
