AMD and Founder Group said Friday (March 26) they will collaborate on 64-bit computer development for the Chinese market.
An agreement forming the alliance was signed in Beijing. The partners said the deal aims to promote AMD's 64-bit processor technology in China.
Founder said it expects to have products commercially available in the next 90 days in China that are based on AMD's 64-bit processor technology.
"Founder, together with AMD, will better satisfy China users' intentions to adopt 64-bit computing early, accelerate 64-bit adoption among the China IT industry and ultimately raise the IT standard in China," Wei Xin, Founder Group's board chairman, said in a statement.
