While the world still waits on Intel's Q2 delivery of its 90-nanometer mobile processor, Dothan, the chip giant today announced four other processors for mobile PCs
The Santa Clara, Calif.-based company unveiled the processors at its Intel Developer Forum in Tokyo today. The processors enable improved mobile performance and extended battery life in "thin-and-light" notebooks.
The new processors include the low voltage Intel Pentium M processor at 1.30GHz, the ultra-low voltage Intel Pentium M processor at 1.10GHz, the Intel Celeron M processor at 1.4 GHz and the ultra-low voltage Intel Celeron M Processor at 900 MHz.
All four processors are built on Intel's .13-micron process technology.
The new processors do not follow Intel's new naming convention, announced last month, which is designed to rate processors on features beyond just clock speed.
