Xilinx reported Q4 revenues of $403.4 million, up 32 percent year-over-year. While net income rose to $130.9 million or 36 cents per diluted share, up 165 percent from the same quarter a year ago.
New products sales increased 24 percent sequentially and represented 36 percent of total revenues, up from 23 percent a year ago.
For the year, Xilinx brought in revenues of $1.40 billion, a 21 percent increase from the previous fiscal year. Net income for fiscal 2004 rose to $303.0 million or 85 cents per diluted share, up 141 percent from the previous year.
Xilinx is projecting that revenues for its Q1, the June quarter, will increase by between 5 percent and 8 percent sequentially. Xilinx's rival Altera announced a 95 percent rise in net income earlier this week.
