The U.S. International Trade Commission said Friday (May 14) it will impose duties on Chinese color TV sets shipped to the United States.
The agency said details of the antidumping case would be released later in the day.
The action marks the second time this year that U.S. agencies have invoked trade sanctions against China. In March, the Bush administration filed a complaint against China with the World Trade Organization over Bejing's 17 percent value-added tax on imported semiconductors.
