Foxconn Electronics, one of the largest manufacturing companies of connectors for PCs in Taiwan, has begun promoting its own brand of motherboards in Shanghai, China, according to local motherboard makers.
Moreover, it has started to use a national sales channel in cooperation with local distributors. The company had a similar attempt to penetrate China's market two years ago, but was not successful. They are undoubtedly more optimistic this time.
Since it's listing in 1991, the company has considerably grown in terms of revenues and profit. Foxconn is the registered trade name for Hon Hai Precision Industry Co., Ltd and is a global leader in providing mechanical solutions. It solely manufactures for desktop PCs and PC servers.
