BenQ expects prices of mainstream LCD TVs to fall 15-20% in the second half of this year, said the company.

Mainstream LCD TVs including the 30-inch range. Nevertheless, BenQ predicts it will ship 500,000 LCD TVs this year reaching its target, as international sports events and digital broadcast continue to spur huge demand.

China is a potential market for digital TVs which demand will reach 200,000 units every year.
