Prices of computer memory chips have yet to peak according to DRAM maker Micron Technology Inc.
Micron's Michael Sadler, vice president of worldwide sales, said he expected demand for DRAMs to rise in the second half of the year along with demand for personal computers, the report said.
"We've not yet reached the strongest point yet," the report quotes Sandler as saying with regard to DRAM chip prices.
On Monday Merrill Lynch downgraded the global semiconductor sector to "underweight" from "overweight" and downgraded its forecast for chip market growth in 2005
