Tuesday, August 17, 2004

Despite the price pressure, Samsung Electronics continue maintaining its contract prices at US$13. The question is how long can it keeps the price higher than the rest.

Prices for 1Gbit chips have already slipped 12% in one month, according to DRAMeXchange. Spot prices for 1Gbit chips made with stack technology were quoted at US$10.40 last week, while other 1Gbit parts were at US$10.50.
