Jeeves announced a list of significant upgrades to their Web site, including an improved search engine and a "personal Web" space where users can permanently store bookmarks and save search results for later reference.

The company also improved its local searching features, and said it would unveil a search product this year that will allow people to find files quickly on their desktops.

The system does not require people to log in. But they'll get more storage space and be able to access their data from any computer if they do.
