TSMC claims the industry first 40-volt, 0.18-micron manufacturing process are volume production now. The process would allow the making of of single-chip TFT LCD drivers by combining LCD source driver and gate driver chips with a power management IC, the company said.
The TSMC 0.18-micron 40-V process is available on TSMC's Cybershuttle prototyping service. Backend services, including gold bumping, are offered through TSMC, the company said.
