United Microelectronics Corp.'s November results saw another sequential drop in sales.
Today's news comes after the number two foundry reported a revenue decrease in october numbers on a quarter-over-quarter basis.
The company reported revenue of $289.2 million (9.3 billion Taiwan dollars), 7.8 percent lower than the $315.3 million recorded (10.1 billion TWD) in October, but 20.5 percent higher than November 2003's $240 million (7.7 billion TWD).
For the 11 months between January and November, UMC’s revenues were $3.4 billion (108.4 billion TWD), 41.7 percent higher than in the same timeframe last year.
UMC’s closest competitor TSMC has yet to report its November revenues.
