Motherboard shipments in November by first tier suppliers are better than expected. Elitegroup Computer Systems (ECS) sees shipments rise 11% sequentially to 1.60 million units. While Gigabyte Technology and Micro-Star International (MSI) fell less than 4% each sequentially, according to Digitimes citing sources in Taiwan.

An earlier forecast had Taiwan¡¦s first-tier motherboard makers expecting their November motherboard shipments to decline 5-10% sequentially.
