HP has agreed to pay Intergraph Corp. $141 million to settle a patent dispute. The deal includes a patent cross-licensing agreement and resolve all legal claims between the rivals, they said.
The two companes have been locked in litigation since 2002 in the U.S. and in Europe. HP also sued Intergraph in the U.S. in 2003 over patents related to its design software.
HP said the cross-licensing deal grants it access to all Intergraph patents. Intergraph gets rights to all HP patents in it current product categories.
