IBM is expected to unveil a new server chipset Tuesday, the Wall Street Journal reported.
IBM says the chipset increases the performance and capabilities of a low-end server, according to the newspaper.
The article said the chipset, called x3, will run in conjunction with central processing chips from Intel inside some of IBM's low-end servers.
