Transcend announced its new high capacity 1GB non-stacked DDR333/266 registered ECC memory modules.
The height of the memory modules is only 1 inch, which meets the height limitations for the 1U server environment.
These memory modules are specially designed for high-end computing systems such as servers and workstations.
1GB non-stacked DDR333/266 registered ECC memory modules are claimed to enhance the performance of high-end computing systems. Transcend's 1GB non-stacked DDR registered memory modules consist of 18pcs 128Mx4 brand name original DDR FBGA chips. The six-layer PCB used for these 1GB modules is designed to meet the most demanding specifications, by minimizing noise signal disturbance and enhancing overall performance.
Transcend's design is claimed to result in better system stability and reliability. Features include: 184-pin DDR333/266 registered DIMM; six-layer PCB design; lifetime warranty; low-Profile (1 inch); and Serial Presence Detect (SPD) with serial EEPROM.
