MoSys Inc., the SoC embedded memory provider in California, said that LG Electronics has licensed its 1T-SRAM high-density embedded memory technology for use in high-volume consumer electronic applications.
“The benefits of 1T-SRAM based products are obvious,” said Heesub Lee, VP of engineering at LG in a statement. “By delivering an optimum combination of density, speed and power dissipation MoSys’ embedded memories allow LG Electronics to maintain our consumer products in a leadership position in terms of performance, quality and cost advantages,” Lee added.
