Hynix Semiconductor Inc. forth quarter income jumped more than four-fold year-to-year, reaching 751 billion won (about $770 million), according to wire reports.
According to Internet reports by Bloomberg and Reuters, Hynix rode strong demand for flash memory to post a 31 percent year-to-year jump in sales.
Hynix net income beat consensus analyst expectations by nearly 80 percent, the report said.
