Powerchip Semiconductor Corporation (PSC) has begun sampling a 1Gb NAND-flash chip, with mass production expected to start in mid-2006, according to the Apple Daily News.
The report also cited sources as saying that PSC 765432will also roll out higher density flash chips, including 2Gb and 4Gb versions, in the second half of 2006.
