Samsung Electronics unveiled what it claimed is the world's slimmest digital multimedia broadcasting (DMB)-enabled phone.
Branded the SCH-B340, the satellite DMB phone is 17.3 millimeters thick, compared with 21.5 millimeters of the company's slimmest phone previously for mobile TV broadcasting, Samsung said in a report.
The phone has a 2-megapixel camera and an MP3 player, with an LCD screen having a resolution of 240 x 320 pixels. It has TV-out, multitasking, file viewer and external memory functions.
A built-in motion sensor allows users to move the function menu only by shaking up and down.
The phone will be shown here later in the week at a price of over 700,000 won ($725), according to Samsung.
