Already one of the most frequently used search engines in China, Accoona has licensed its English search engine to Sina, China¡¦s leading online publisher, and to Sohu, China¡¦s largest portal. Accoona said it expects to attract more than 10 million users monthly to the Chinese search engine.
"Currently Accoona.cn has more than 10 million users each month. With the SearchBar we expect the number of users to increase to 30 million per month," Accoona CEO Stuart Kauder said in a statement.
Accoona pioneered the application of artificial intelligence to Web searches. It has been providing search capabilities to China since December 2004.
