Samsung Electronics and Hynix Semiconductor Inc. have separately raised their NAND flash-memory prices for the first time this year.
Samsung , the world’s largest supplier of NAND flash, increased its prices by a “single-digit percentage” at the end of April, according to the report, which cited Chu Woo Sik, head of investor relations at the South Korean chip giant.
Another South Korean company, Hynix (Seoul), said it raised prices at the end of last month, according to the report.
