Flash memory specialist Spansion Inc. Tuesday (June 20) raised its second quarter revenue guidance, saying it now expects revenue to be in the range of $605 million to $635 million. The company had said it expected second quarter revenue to be in the range of $590 million to $620 million.
Spansion (Sunnyvale, Calif.), the top supplier of NOR flash, said raising guidance was the result of strong worldwide demand from the cellular phone, consumer and industrial markets.
