Acer's notebook shipments in the China market should surpass 100,000 units in the second quarter of this year, down 10% from the previous quarter, but up 200% on year, according to sources at Acer.

In addition, the company's notebook shipments to Europe have been expanding steadily at around 20-30% on-year since the second half of 2005 instead of the 50% growth it had recorded previously, commented the sources.
