Prices of NAND-flash chips show improvement, according to figures posted by DRAMeXchange.
DRAMeXchange also notes that the uptick in spot pricing still applied mainly to DDR chips last week. The spot prices of NAND flash stabilized, thanks to a reduction in stock from upstream makers, while consumers have not yet resumed their buying interest. One encouraging price sign ahead is that Apple may resume its stock procurement at Samsung Electronics and Hynix Semiconductor, after mid-August, according to DRAMeXchange.
